Our Supplier Program connects Royal Quinoa farming communities, technical assistance, organic production and traceability from planting through harvest.
Andean Valley began working with organic suppliers in 1996, achieved its first organic certification in 1999 and formally established its Supplier Program in 2002. What began with 22 farmers in the community of Yonsa developed into a structured network supporting Royal Quinoa production in the Bolivian Southern Highlands.
We provide field-based technical assistance and training focused on organic Royal Quinoa production, soil preparation, fertilization, pest management and post-harvest practices.
We support producers with organic production practices, certification processes and projects designed to strengthen soil management and the long-term resilience of Royal Quinoa farming.
The program includes selected tools, organic inputs, pest-control materials, production guides and practical resources that support farmers throughout the agricultural cycle.

Caring for the land. Valuing the people who grow our food.
At Andean Valley, our commitment to Royal Quinoa begins in the field. We work alongside Bolivian farmers to keep ancestral agricultural knowledge alive and promote practices that support soil health and fair trading relationships. In October 2021, we obtained Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC®) certification. Our Bronze certification for quinoa reflects our commitment to agriculture that brings together organic production, soil health, and the well-being of the people who work the land.
Regenerative Organic Certified® is a certification overseen by the Regenerative Organic Alliance. It builds on USDA Organic certification, or a recognized international equivalent, with additional requirements organized around three pillars: Soil Health and Land Management, Animal Welfare, and Farmer and Worker Fairness. At Andean Valley, the documented scope of our certification covers Soil Health and Land Management and Farmer and Worker Fairness.
Regenerative organic agriculture seeks to protect and restore soil health. It promotes practices such as minimizing soil disturbance, maintaining vegetative cover, and diversifying crops, adapted to the conditions of each farming system. This approach connects with the knowledge of Royal Quinoa farmers and the care of the land that sustains their livelihoods, with future generations in mind.
Established in 1999, our agricultural supplier program combines agronomic support with a social, environmental, and economic focus. ROC certification includes requirements for fair treatment of farmers and workers, recognizing that regenerative agriculture must also address the rights and working conditions of the people who produce our food.
For brands, importers, and distributors, our ROC-certified Royal Quinoa offers Bolivian provenance alongside regenerative organic production criteria verified through audits. Let's discuss certified products, available packaging formats, and supply options for your market.
